For a long time, it was just my grandma\u2019s song, the one she always plays on her birthday, the one she always requests at family gatherings. But lately, life has been teaching me to really listen. And now that phrase hits differently. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It makes me think... how often do we take for granted everything life gives us?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Everything we\u2019ve lived and everything we still hope for. Everything we can touch and everything we simply feel. The big things and the little things. A hug from someone we love. A laugh. A message that says, \u201cYou\u2019re going to be okay,\u201d right when we need it most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The truth is, life gives us something every single day. Sometimes we notice it. Most of the time, we don\u2019t pay enough attention. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Today, for this Gratitude Wednesday, I want to say it like my grandma does: \u201cGracias a la vida, que me ha dado tanto.\u201d
\u201cThanks to life, which has given me so much.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
And thanks to my Grandma for teaching me, without even knowing it, through the voice of a woman who has lived nine decades, that gratitude doesn\u2019t need grand gestures or perfect days. Sometimes, it\u2019s enough to open your eyes, sing a song, and feel grateful for the life we have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Because when I reflect on it, maybe that\u2019s what it\u2019s all about: learning to listen with a more open heart. Realizing that even in the most ordinary routines, life is giving us something. A moment that won\u2019t come again. A kind gesture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Things don\u2019t have to be perfect to be worthy of gratitude. We just have to notice that we\u2019re here. And that life, with all its twists and turns, is still giving us so much.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Grateful to have you here, heart to heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
