Café con Melli was born during quiet mornings with my little cup of coffee, in those invisible moments of life and womanhood that so often go unnoticed. It’s my little corner, like a coffee shop for the soul, where I serve stories with calm, honesty, and a lot of feeling. Café con Melli nació entre mañanas silenciosas con mi tacita de café, en esos momentos invisibles de la vida y de ser mujer que tantas veces pasan desapercibidos. Es mi pequeño rincón, como un coffee shop del alma, donde sirvo historias con calma, honestidad y mucho sentimiento.
This is how Café con Melli was born
Motherhood did not come to me in the traditional way. It was several years of trying, searching, doubts, and disappointments. Until one day, in those moments of searching, I found a blog post. The words of that mom, how she shared her struggle with infertility and her journey toward adoption, touched something very deep inside me.
That was the moment I stopped fighting against my body to get pregnant. I felt relieved, hopeful… and, for the first time, at peace. I had found my path: adoption. la adopción.
With time, I asked myself:
What if my words could also touch the heart of someone who needs them?
And that’s how Café con Melli was born, a corner where I write as I feel and live things—from the heart. I share who I am: a woman and mom walking this beautiful yet challenging path, where motherhood and femininity take on different forms. Café con Melli, un rincón donde escribo como siento y vivo las cosas: desde el corazón. Comparto lo que soy: una mujer y mamá recorriendo este camino tan hermoso como desafiante, donde la maternidad y la feminidad toman formas distintas.

Cuando conoces a alguien que te cambia la mirada
Hay personas que llegan a tu vida para hacerte mejor. No por lo que dicen, sino por lo que son. Melli es una de ellas.
Desde que conocí su historia como mamá adoptiva, no he dejado de admirarla. Su capacidad de amar sin condiciones, de entregarse sin medida, y de construir una familia desde el corazón, me ha hecho detenerme, mirarme por dentro y cuestionar lo que realmente significa dar.
Melli no solo es mamá de una manera inmensamente valiente y generosa, es también una mujer con una luz especial. Su historia no solo inspira, transforma. Su amor no solo acompaña, enseña.
Y yo tengo la fortuna de llamarla amiga.
Gracias, Melli, por recordarme que el amor verdadero no siempre nace del vientre, pero sí, siempre, del alma. Que ser mamá es un acto de fe, de entrega y de amor profundo.
Dios te puso en mi camino como una bendición, y cada día agradezco tener la dicha de compartir la vida con alguien con un corazón tan grande como el tuyo.
